Standing By is looking for an experienced design and branding talent to join our growing team. Collaborate with our team and lead on design for products and communications with new and existing brands. Work alongside our partners, a mix of established and start up clients in Australia and overseas. Design identities, products and systems that delight and build communities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with our team and clients to continually nurture brand narrative
• Interpret and contribute to high-level brand strategy and present with confidence
• Brief inward to the team, and out to our partners and outsourced resources
• Solve challenges through iteration, staying open to new ideas and changing priorities
• Design adaptive solutions and systems that work across digital, experiential and physical
• Manage tasks and deadlines across multiple projects, working at a methodical pace
• Communicate clearly and often with the team and critically, our partners.

Requirements

• At least two years experience in designing identities and interfaces including: research, ideation, prototyping and implementation of solutions, for new and existing brands
• Excellent design craft rooted in an understanding of, and appreciation for typography, visual communication, content and copywriting
• A strong desire to design for connected experiences across current and future channels and platforms
• Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken
• Expert level understanding of tools like Figma and Adobe CC.
